Harvard Business Review, CNBC and Fast Company have called Bill Jensen todays foremost expert on work complexity and cutting through clutter to what really matters.

He has spent the past two decades studying how work gets done. (Much of what hes found horrifies him.)

He is an internationally-acclaimed author and speaker who is known for provocative ideas, extremely useful content, and his passion for making it easier for everyone to work smarter, not harder.

His first book, Simplicity, was the Number 5 Leadership/Management book on Amazon in 2000. His next best-seller is Simplicity Survival Handbook: 32 Ways to Do Less and Accomplish More.

His newest book, Hacking Work:Breaking Stupid Rules for Smart Results reveals an underground army of benevolent hackers breaking all sorts of rules so everyone can do great work.

Bill holds degrees in Communication Design and Organizational Development.

He is CEO of The Jensen Group, whose mission is: To make it easier to get stuff done.

Among the Jensen Groups clients are Bank of America, Merck, Pfizer, GE, LOral Italia, Genentech, NASA, The World Bank, The Royal Bank, Walt Disney World, American Express, Merrill Lynch, Philips Lighting, the US Navy SEALS, the government of Ontario, Singapore Institute of Management, Guangzhou China Development District, and the Swedish Post Office.

Bills personal life fantasy is to bicycle around the globe via breweries.

Thumb Bill Jensen skillfully explained how simplicity can help us achieve better results, and how it creates and transfers value throughout our organization. Now, we all realize that we have in our hands a new competitive advantage: Simplicity...The power to less of what doesn't matter, and more of what does!

Thumb The feedback that I have received from Bill Jensen's message continues to reverberate through anyone who was lucky enough to be there. Job seekers are, by nature, looking for security and certitude again. They have a hard time accepting the role of serendipity in job search in particular and in life in general. But the power and grace of Bill Jensen's talk gave all of us renewed hope and energy!

Thumb (via email to Bill Jensen) I want you to KNOW that you drew me in within the first 5 minutes of your message. Your experience about your Mom reached my HEART and connected with me personally. I know it took courage for you to even be able recount that story. I benefited more from your presentation than any other (Except my Fire and Police Academies)…Thank you for a Terrific Day.

Thumb (via email) I learned so many useful tips from the class...I've already managed to avoid one (unnecessary) meeting! Thank you!

Thumb I have never had so many requests for a speaker's handouts before! One person could not stop telling me how it was an "eye opener" for him. Terrific session. We want him back ASAP!

Thumb As I have reflected on Bill Jensen's ideas and put the information in action, I can see more clearly than ever how critical it is to communicate the KFD (Know, Feel, Do) in all our work and projects. I've started using the KFD in conversations and e-mails and have been surprised and happy with the response. As I see it, the "ultimate e-mail" and KFD will fundamentally change my ability to motivate others and excel beyond my peers. I will see if I can persuade other departments in our company to host Bill Jensen. They don't know what their missing!

Thumb Bill Jensen's most enlightening seminar reminded me of more than a beautiful movie (2007) "The Lives of Others." Among the tons of suggestions and hints I got, this one quote from Bill is the most important for me: “Everything you do uses a portion of someone else's life.” Simple and challenging.

Thumb Bill's presentation was extremely helpful in clarifying the fact that, once again, while thinking about how to restructure the company, the company itself is the focus for simplification, not just customers nor (God forbid) employees. A wonder and stimulating presentation.

MARCO BASTONI · Head of Human Resources, UniCredit Family Financing Bank, Italy
Thumb Bill's presentation to our advisory committee was truly awesome — a very stimulating morning! Bill really got that gray matter working. The Advisors really appreciated hearing Bill's insights, and took away many provocative thoughts on which to ruminate. He provoked an extremely salient discussion and everyone was into it. We are so grateful to Bill for so generously sharing his time, talent and expertise with us.
