Abandoned by her birth mother at the age of two, Ms. Alejandro was raised in a dysfunctional poverty stricken family. In order to escape her abusive home Ms. Alejandro got married as a very young teen and was mother to three boys before age twenty. In her quest to overcome her upbringing she strived to further her education by receiving her GED, obtaining her medical assistant certification and becoming a Mass. Metropolitan Police officer. While a "Met" she became the first female on a Special Operations Unit in the State of Mass. in the mid-eighties. Ms. Alejandro went on to spend 6 years on the Tac team, as well as a Drill instructor and speaker on the department's speaker's bureau. After her department merged with the Mass. State Police, she became an alternate on the STOP team, and was hand picked to work on the intervention team when the city of Chelsea went into state receivership and was taken over by the State Police. Ms. Alejandro went on to become a homicide detective, undercover officer, attached to work with DEA, ATF, ICE as well as various other agencies. Ms. Alejandro was forced to take an early retirement from the state police after she re-married and became mom to a blended family of 8 kids, as well as being diagnosed with several chronic illnesses.

Not one to let anything slow her down she has gone on to be a community organizer, actress, technical adviser, as well as a writer a talk show host.

Ms. Alejandro strive to inspire people from all walks of life to never give in to the lot dealt to them by life and to never give up on their dreams.
