One of particular note was on the theme of Government Reliance on NGOs during disaster response. He was a most professional Session Chair and did much to not only organise his own session but also to assist with the overall IDER programme development. He was a great ambassador for Feed The Children and continues to be so in his current position as Director of Field Services, The Global FoodBanking Network and for that matter for the United States, and one whom his country should be justly proud.
