Picture?type=square I totally agree with Becky Jamison on this one. Google Plus is extremely new and Dan has jumped right in and become an expert on the subject! He is clear, concise and easily understood by all. Very impressive.

Picture?type=square Dan was very prepared and had excellent content to his presentation. He presented it step-by-step so it was easy to digest. It was not "over our head". I was riveted to his presentation. His visuals were great too!

Thumb It was a very practical presentation done in an entertaining fashion - it was well paced and very considerate of everyone's level of skill and understanding of both Google and genealogical pusuits. Also enjoyed the lecture from the perspective of being the seminar organizer since you were extremely cooperative in making the arrangements and providing information for the seminar. Another plus was all the attendee comments about how useful the Google tips were and that some had breakthroughs even while sitting there and using their laptops!

Thumb I heard Dan speak at multiple venues in Australia on using Google more effectively. He was fantastic! Dan is a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable speaker - everyone I spoke to after each event said how much they had learned. If you have the opportunity to hear Dan speak then make sure you take it - you won't be disappointed.

Thumb I saw Dan Lynch present at Fordham Law School in NYC two years ago – he’s one of the best presenters I’ve heard on ANY topic! After his talk, I spent hours on my computer as if it was the first time I had used Google or the Internet. High energy and even higher relevance. Top notch speaker and certainly knows his genealogy research just as well, if not better!

Thumb Dan gave a few presentations at the last NGS conference I attended – his talks alone were worth the price of admission. He mostly covered Google and how to use the Internet to find information about my ancestors, but I found his tips helpful for my every-day use too. Highly recommend Dan. His lectures were highly professional, he fielded questions with ease, and held my attention from start to finish. If you have a chance to attend a conference or workshop where Dan is the featured speaker, don’t miss it.

Thumb Dan, what FUN it was to learn more about Google from you at RootsTech! I nearly decided not to take your class, and was rewarded for arriving late with having to stand outside the lecture hall with a lot of others sitting and standing there outside - the only standing-room crowd I saw at the entire conference! Like nearly everyone else, I waited for the second session and was impressed that you stayed to answer every question asked of you. Your enthusiasm and knowledge of your material and family-history research and technology in general is captivating! You presented your material logically and in the right order - and kept your audiences' attention and interest - you're a dynamic speaker and I'll look to attend your sessions at future conferences. (We all enjoyed the humor you snuck in, too!) A lot of learning, a lot of laughing, a great experience!

Thumb You presented very practical methods of using Google, something I use many times a day, to find information that I look for in many places. Your suggestions help me to be much more efficient in my research and to look in a wider variety of places. You made us aware of areas of Google that most had never used. Because of this we all learned different ways to approach our research with the result of more and better results for our efforts. Finally, it was just an enjoyable day. You provided excellent information in a very entertaining way!
