Dee Merian
Award winning author 2010 and 2011
Bio
Dee Merian has worked as a TWA air hostess, dietitian, nurse, New York food broker, and Brooklyn college professor. She writes non-fiction stories which she observed during her many occupations.
She has a Masters Degree from New York University and a Certificate from Iowa Universsity Writers Workshop. Currently she is a member of South Carolina Film Department and a grant recipient from Beaufort County Arts council writing her next book about the women's movement during the 1960's.
She is a DTM Toastmasters International Speakers Club member. She often gives lectures about the subject of her books.
