Elissa Scalise Powell
Genealogy Lecturer and Instructor, Western Pennsylvania Researcher
|
Elissa is an expert genealogist, instructor and lecturer who exhibits the highest of professional standards. I had the pleasure of hearing her speak numerous times at national genealogy conferences and also when we were both invited speakers at at event in Western Pennsylvania a few years ago. Elissa's lectures are informative, yet entertaining, and I always learn something new from her each time I attend one of her talks. I highly recommend her.

I took Elissa's Professional Genealogy course and also attended her BCG lecture. I learned a lot from those classes that I continue to use today. I replay the BCG videos at home and continue to learn from her teaching. She does an excellent job and always answers any questions I may have.

Elissa's discussion of the requirements for certification by the Board for the Certification of Genealogists was extremely helpful. She helped to make what seemed an impossible task become possible.
