As the Networking Coach Jan Vermeiren not only provides (key note) presentations, training courses and personal coaching on the topic of networking and referrals, but also advices organisations how to stimulate networking at their own events and how to integrate networking in their sales and recruitment strategy.
Besides that he is also regularly interviewed about networking by different media like Forbes, Belgian national television (De Zevende Dag, Lichtpunt), newspapers, job sites (Vacature.com, Jobat) and the magazines of several Chambers of Commerce.
Jan is the author of the networking books "Let's Connect!" and "How to REALLY use LinkedIn" and also of the networking CD "Let's Connect at an event!" The book gives you more insights in networking and deals with how to improve your networking on events and on the Internet, whether you are in sales or not. The CD contains 30 immediately applicable network tips to make every event a success.
There is also the Everlasting Referrals Home Study Course which is the next best thing to a training course when people want to create a network of ambassadors who bring in customer after customer so they don't ever have to cold call again.
Jan and his team are hired by large international companies like Alcatel, Belgacom, Delta Lloyd Bank, Deloitte, DuPont, EDS, Ernst & Young, IBM, SAP and Sun Microsystems as well as by small companies and freelancers.
Jan provides many free networking and referral resources on simple demand.

“We hired Jan for an in-company training on referrals. Apart from his expertise and good trainer personality, I would especially recommend his pragmatism. No high-brow power-talk, but simple, easy to apply principles. None of us had the feeling that what was being said could not be applied outside the meeting room. The 'A-ha' feeling was present all day long. Thanks to this training and Jan's writing, I have come to understand better how to combine doing business with a willingness to help other people, as this is what networking is all about. Thanks again for that, Jan.†January 16, 2010

This is a combination of theory and practice with 2 weeks in-between the sessions, which makes doing practical work with the tips and insights you get possible.
His books 'Let's connect' and 'How to REALLY use LinkedIn are very practical and written in everyday language.
As a result of this I now create a list with tips on networking (my business also) I can give away to people so they can benefit more from what I have to offer and practice what is 'known' or learned elsewhere.
As well as being a great author Jan is also a nice person and efficient public speaker!
If you want to learn and practice your networking skills more, go and see Jan Vermeiren.
