Bio
Jennifer Hudson Taylor is an award winning author of historical Christian fiction set in Europe and the Carolinas and a speaker on topics of faith, writing and publishing. Her work has appeared in national publications, such as Guideposts, Heritage Quest Magazine, Romantic Times Book Reviews, and The Military Trader. She serves as the part-time Publicist at Hartline Literary Agency, as well as her company Upon the Rock Publicist. Jennifer graduated from Elon University with a B.A. in Journalism. When she isn't writing, she enjoys spending time with family, long walks, traveling, touring historical sites, hanging out at bookstores with coffee shops, genealogy, and reading.
Jennifer's fiction is represented by Literary Agent, Terry Burns with Hartline Literary Agency.

I've known Jennifer for a couple of years now and appeared with her on WGGn Channel 16 in Greenville a year ago. Her dedication and diligence to the craft of writing are evident in her speaking and in her work. She has a warm personality that comes through when she works and speaks to a group. Also, her love for the Lord is clear in her teaching and life. I love counting Jennifer as a friend and colleague in my group of authors and speakers.

Jennifer spoke on the art of research. She discussed utilizing our local libraries, geneaology, the internet, as well as other modes of research. Jennifer was informative and kept us engaged. Jennifer came prepared and used PowerPoint as well as handouts for our guests. She knows her topics, is very personable, poised and organized. I look forward to Jennifer speaking for us again and look forward to hearing her at other conferences.

Jennifer Hudson Taylor gave a very engaging and informative presentation to our writers group titled: The Art of Researching Today & Yesterday. She gave us handouts packed with information. And she did a fantastic job of presenting the material, making it interesting and using examples. I would definitely recommend Jennifer as a speaker. She's very poised, organized and professional. I’ve heard Jennifer Hudson Taylor speak on several occasions and I’m always impressed with her professionalism and knowledge. Recently, I had the opportunity to attend her presentation “Building an Online Platform with Impact.” As usual, Jennifer’s style was personable and friendly. She easily communicates to online users of all levels. Well-prepared on the topic and armed with some awesome visual aids, Jennifer shared many marketing tips and discussed different venues for building successful online platforms. I highly recommend attending any of Jennifer Hudson Taylor’s workshops.

Jennifer Hudson Taylor shared a wealth of information on how authors can make the most effective use of social media for connecting with readers and networking with other publishing professionals. Using excellent visual aids and an open, friend-to-friend presentation style, Jennifer addressed her topic thoroughly and enthusiastically. Clearly she had done her research and was not only well versed on the subject but also spoke from personal experience. I brought home information and advice I will refer to often!
