I enjoyed John’s talk because I’d never witnessed anything like it. Josh is an underdog in action. He’s a man who has Tourette’s AND he’s chosen public speaking as his vocation. Want to talk ‘inspiring’? That alone!
Josh’s story makes you shake your head, but what really makes you shake your head is that his telling of it is exactly what he is talking about: Overcoming great odds to do great things. It makes you want to BE that, too. It makes you wonder how you ever took your own obstacles seriously.

I had an opportunity to see Josh in Action during the Make an Impact Live Event in Chicago, and I came out of his speech inspired just by his life story alone. He spoke with passion and charisma; he also took the time to engage the audience and really be a great speaker. He moved around the room instead of staying stagnant in one particular position to add to the value of reaching out to the participants. He was one of my favorite speakers throughout the whole weekend!
