  1. Attracting and Engaging Generation Y to your Organization and Association:** Growing Membership and Leadership "The fastest way to a win- win is by knowing and doing what motivates others." Karen McCullough

For the past 20 years, membership/leadership in most associations has been lead by the Baby Boomers yet, the fastest growing segment of today's workforce is Generation Y, individuals born after 1978. Currently estimated to represent 22% of the workforce, Generation Y workers are expected to outnumber Generation X workers by 2011. Gen Y is challenging the status quo. They are not that excited about joining associations/organizations let alone taking on leadership roles. In order to succeed and grow associations must attract, retain and grow into leadership the next generation of members.

In this program, Karen gives you a step-by-step process with specific immediate actions you can take to attract and engage Gen Y to your association/organization. Whatever you decide to do, it's important to start now. Gen Y is the future;making it without them is not an option. Attendees will learn:

o The Collaboration Tool Kit (Respect, Trust, Clarity, Fairness, Focus, Understanding)
