Your presentation was fun and filled with personal experiences that made me feel like I am not alone in the effort to write my family history for all of the new cousins I have found via my research.

Lisa is an amazing speaker. She knows her subject so well, she tailors her talk to her audience. Her voice carries to the back row, her slides are interesting and informative (and she doesn't read them) and she is a wealth of information.

I have heard Lisa speak numerous times as a webinar presenter. Today's talk, as is typical for all her talks, was chock full of helpful information for people seeking to learn more about how to find their immigrant ancestors. Lisa removes the veil of mystery for those hoping to trace their ancestors back to the old country.

Lisa was able to give great ideas for breaking up the writing experience about family history and include events and timelines to help the reader find excitement as they read about someone else's family. She inspired me to begin writing again in my family blog. Thanks! Lisa

Lisa is an absolutely brilliant lecturer. I can say unequivocally she is one of the best I have seen.
Lisa takes a multifaceted subject and distills it into manageable components. Her knowledge of the subject matter is impeccable. Her lectures are not the dry monotonous “let me stand here and read my Power Point slides.” Her slides act as an overview to her wealth of knowledge matched with a delivery style that teaches as it engages her audience.
One dynamic woman! I highly recommend you attend one of Lisa's lectures or webinars. You will not be disappointed.

Lisa is an extremely engaging presenter. She holds your attention from beginning to end. No matter how many times I hear her (and it's been a lot!), she has new and exciting information! I'm overwhelmed at her knowledge in various fields, from Eastern European research to writing family histories. Lisa covers many topics, which is quite appealing!
Perhaps what sets Lisa apart is the personal attention she gives to others, both beginners and pros. Lisa will always have an interested crowd around her!

Lisa's talks are well researched, very organized and presented in an engaging manner. This was the second presentation I had attended of hers; the other being at a Family History Expo in Mesa Arizona January 2010. I enjoy learning from her and look forward to hearing her speak again.

What a wonderfully informative few days. I attended these sessions:
- Researching your Czech and Slovak Roots
- Immigrant Cluster Communities
- Why you need to join an Ethnic Genealogy Society .. Now!
I came away from the first session with a page full of wonderful tips. Lisa Alzo is an engaging, personable speaker who brings her years of experience alive through the right combination of examples, anecdotes and research suggestions.
I came away from the first session energized and ready to implement several strategies. I learned about several new sources of information. Ms. Alzo's lectures helped me to navigate the often confusing waters of Eastern European research. Her strategies for ancestor sheets, cluster research and collaborative research are applicable to all of my various lines.
Great to hear a well organized speaker who naturally and seamlessly stays on topic and invariably finished in a timely manner.
Thank you for giving me food for thought for the months ahead.

Lisa did a great job of including many interesting personal genealogical finds into her presentation. She is a great documenter of her sources and provided a series of tips to follow to be successful in researching. She also is using up to date technology to facilitate research possibilities, including not only internet websites, but village groups, and sharing information with a cousin using Skype. Lisa shared the story of how she came to meet relatives on her first trip to Slovakia and how that led to obtaining more information that needs further research and how she plans to go about getting more of that older genealogical data. I have heard Lisa speak at other events sponsored by the Czechslovak Genealogical Society International, but this was the most recent.

Lisa presented at a class geared toward continuing adult education. The course attendees thoroughly enjoyed her lecture as all who take a class given by Lisa agree that her knowledge of genealogy and family history is exceeded only by her passion and zeal for the subject. In addition to her expertise, Lisa is well known for her patience and kindness as she is apt to give her time and assistance to those who need help finding their past and tracing their ancestry.
Lisa Alzo is an outstanding presenter, a true expert in her field and a generous person with her time and knowledge.

Lisa is one of the best genealogy presenters I have encountered in many years of attending genealogy conferences. She knows her topic because she lives her topic. She has done extensive research in the areas of her presentations and she has a wealth of knowledge. Her personal stories are inspirational and to the point. She has a great rapport with her audience and makes everyone feel like THEIR story is important to her, too.

Lisa is an engaging and informative speaker. She's comfortable with her subject and communicates information effectively in a style that engages her audience. At one event I attended she followed two other speakers (both professionals in their fields) who were simply reading off of their note cards. When Lisa approached the microphone it was as if a light bulb had been switched on. She is enthusiastic about family history and it comes through in her presentations.
