Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter is the world’s most influential modern thinker on competitive strategy and international competitiveness, making him in demand as a lecturer and advisor to businesses and governments around the globe. His seminal books include Competitive Strategy, Competitive Advantage, and The Competitive Advantage of Nations. His newest book, On Competition, is a select collection of Porter’s writing, as well as two new pieces that tie the range of his work together. He developed and leads Harvard’s workshop for new CEOs of billion-dollar companies, and maintains an active role in economic policy formation for the U.S., Latin America, the Pacific Rim, and elsewhere.
