Bio

Nataly Rubinstein is a licensed clinical social worker, certified geriatric care manager, author and speaker, specializing in Alzheimers disease and other dementias. She is the author of Alzheimers Disease and Other Dementias: The Caregivers Complete Survival Guide. Through Ms. Rubinsteins book and presentations, she helps caregivers navigate the myriad of conflicting information concerning diagnoses, treatments, coping with everyday activities, and dementia itself.

In addition to Natalys twenty-five years of experience helping families cope with dementia and Alzheimers disease, she also spent sixteen years as the primary caregiver for her mother, who was diagnosed with dementia. Her insights and understanding arent just theory. Theyre practical techniques gleaned from her in-the-trenches experiences.

Nataly also worked several years at The Wien Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida, which is ranked among the nations top hospitals for geriatric care by U.S. News & World Report. She is a consultant for numerous assisted living facilities and offers staff training and education on dementia. Nataly operates a private practice, Alzheimers Care Consultants, Inc., that provides counseling, educational programs, and support groups for people with dementia and their caregivers. She is currently working on her PhD.
