Sanjay Dalal launched and emceed the Small Business Development Day hosted by ABAOC on April 19, 2012 at the Anaheim Marriott Convention Center. The event was attended by over 250 small business owners, entrepreneurs and startups in Orange County. Dalal set the tone early about how the event will help owners and entrepreneurs boost their business in 2012. He was charismatic when he shared key insights on the growth of Asian American population and Asian small business community in America. He was inspiring when he talked about "There Ain't Nothing Small About Small Business" and got the audience fired up about how it's great to be a Small Business with quotes from Ronald Reagan and Barack Obama. When he made everyone repeat with pride, "I Am Small Business", that was the climax. He is a great speaker, knows how to engage the audience, and how to inspire them with appropriate messages.
Later on, he introduced the keynote speakers, and did a live question and answer session with Orange County Small Business Development Corporation Director. This was very well received judging from the audience questions, participation and engagement.
I really enjoyed the entire ABAOC conference, and look forward to seeing Sanjay Dalal at future events.

Dalal holds executive certification on Leading Management Teams from Cornell University, and is an engineering scholar graduate in Electrical Engineering (Computer Engineering) from The University of Texas at Austin.Dalal attended Arizona State University for graduate education in Computer Science.Dalal secured the first position in the 50th William Lowell Putnam Math Competition.
Dalal volunteered as basketball coach for Irvine NJB, Ranch Middle School and Fremont NJB for his son's teams, as an art master for 2nd graders for his daughter's class, and as the secretary and treasurer of the Turtle Rock School Site Council and PTA respectively. Dalal was a member of the Technology Advisory Committee for the Fremont School District, an appointed position by the Fremont Board of Education, to create a Technology plan for 40,000 students. Dalal was a Web 2.0 adviser for Cal State Fullerton, Extended Education. Dalal was an appointed member of the Dean's Leadership Circle of The Paul Merage School of Business, University of California, Irvine, and a guest lecturer at the University of California, Irvine for the Strategic Innovation class.

Sanjay Dalal chairs marketing for Asian Business Association Orange County. He eloquently introduced the raffle for Disneyland tickets by liking ABAOC on Facebook, which resulted in generating many new ABAOC patrons. He was articulate and clear, and inspired the attendees to connect with ABAOC on Facebook. Further, Sanjay moderated the panel on "How to do business with the government", and enthusiastically introduced the panelists, asked meaningful questions, and engaged the audience. The audience came away impressed by his style, and were inspired by his ability to ask hard questions of the panelists. In short, the audience really learned best practices and tips on how to do business with government and local agencies. We would highly recommend Sanjay to speak about social media, business, marketing and moderate panels on the same.

I attended the 26th ASEI Convention in Orange County on Sep 24, 2011. Sanjay chaired the Sociial Networking Track, introduced keynote speaker and social media speakers throughout the day, moderated the social media panel and spoke on the advances of social media for small business & entrepreneurs. Sanjay is an eloquent, engaging and inspiring speaker. He is also humorous and funny, and connects with the audience. He has mastery over his subject matter, and provided many insights during his speech. I learned quite a bit about social media after attending his speech, and am able to put his key points into my business practice.
