Tim spoke with his colleague Nick Morgan on the topic of leveraging your platform to become a paid speaker. I had heard of Tim before but hadn't read any of his books, so I wasn't already a fan. Tim was both personal and professional and managed to convey the landscape of public speaking at the same time that he addressed the nuts and bolts of the field.
He also shined in the Q&A section, especially since there were some participants who either were hostile or unreceptive to parts of his message about presenting a professional demeanor as a speaker.
Tim (and Nick) gave insightful, constructive, and personal information in an engaging and entertaining way. The caliber of the presentation and discussion was above expectations and it set up future speakers for success.
