InfoSeCon 2005 was the first regional information security event of the kind in Eastern Europe, officially supported by ENISA. Therefore, we knew that we must get top-class experts as speakers to the conference. My whole team and I were very excited and honored when Tom accepted our invitation to speak. Tom gave faboulous presentations, very interesting and insightful. Not only he delivered on the formal part of the conference, but also kept sharing his rich knowledge and experience with the attendees during the networking events as well.

When I was recruiting speakers for my panel on Cloud Computing, one of the first people I turned to was Tom. Having seen Tom present repeatedly over the past 14 years, I knew his authoritative and humurously engaging style was just what I wanted. He of course delivered.

Tom is one of those rare speakers who is not only the leading expert in his field but can also convey his message while captivating the audience. With a career that has found Tom at the forefront of cyber, corporate, and national security issues his talks combine a wealth of knowledge with fascinating and entertaining anecdotes. His talk at METal was profound and funny. Easily one of the best talks I saw last year.

Tom presentation on the public-private security collaboration was an excellent example of the kind of fresh thinking that is needed to truly get security "done". I found myself nodding as often as I was laughing - a lot. Definitely a highlight of the various presentations and an extremely useful presentation.

As Chairman and host of a conference of mainly Entertainment executives, I asked Tom to enlighten the audience on the less glamorous world of cyber warfare. Tom responded with a very captivating talk entitled, "How McDonalds and Al Qaeda are Similar"...which had the audience buzzing! It was fascinating, educational, and accomplished exactly my intent: to raise awareness and get folks thinking a little broader in terms of "content security".

Tom understands the challenges the military operator is facing as they come to the realization that the cyber domain is man-made and that the DOD must work with the 'owners' of the intellectual capital--the private-sector!

Very informative yet entertaining. Electronic payment security can often be a dry topic, yet Tom was able to weave in personal experience as well as clever ways to address issues. Looking forward to Tom's next speech.
