Tyler Hayden has been a full-time professional speaker and innovative educator for over a decade. His business is personal development and non- traditional team-building programs.
Tyler's clients include some of the world's largest corporations like Scotiabank, Manulife, and Caterpillar and associations, like the Young Presidents Organization (YPO). Tyler is a keynoter, team-builder and author. He has developed program solutions for groups in areas of leadership, management, teambuilding, staff motivation, personal development, and soft skill development.
He is the author of 14 books, 2 audio CDs, an interactive CD ROM, and a full- length DVD. His training materials have been sold worldwide, and he has delivered hundreds of high-energy keynotes and team-building programs. Tyler balances his busy speaking career with two other business ventures -- Message In A Bottle Book Series, and Consulting with Howatt HR -- both of which provide business and life solutions in innovative ways.
All work and no play? No way! Tyler enjoys travelling and experiencing new cultures and high-adrenaline activities, like skydiving, canyoning and survival camping. Tyler spends some of his "free" time at home renovating his family's 250-year old Cape Cod home and building folk art sculptures and paintings.
Finally, a description of Tyler would not be complete without a word about his greatest source of affluence: family. Tyler is a loving husband to Laurie, a high school principal, and proud father of Tait and Breton, his beautiful little girls. Tyler and Laurie look forward to building a loving family and continuing to make a difference in the quiet seaside community of Mahone Bay, Nova Scotia.

Tyler Hayden was emcee for the Atlantic Internet Marketing conference this year in Halifax. Tyler had the audience cracking up from his first time on stage, through every stop. He was 200% the professional – doing whatever was asked, whether planned or unplanned – filling in the holes when needed, herding cattle when we had to get people going, and generally being a larger than life (of the party) host. In one line – Tyler Hayden was the best emcee we could have asked for, alternately inspiring and full-on hilarious, he makes people laugh, makes them comfortable, and gets them engaged. No question – the biggest single decision we made that impacted the event’s success was hiring Tyler Hayden to emcee the show. He became the glue that held the event together, and lifted it up to a new level. I don’t think we could find better.â€

I had the privilege of first seeing Tyler as a speaker when I was a deligate at the annual leadership conference for the North West region of the Ontario Secondary School Students' Association. I thought he was so good, I helped facilitate a speaking tour for him in my home town of Thunder Bay, ON for six different high schools. Since then I have seen Tyler speak several more times, and never have his talks or his messages gotten old.

Tyler was excellent to watch and his message was great. It was my first time seeing Tyler in action and action is what he provided. Along with his ability to hold an audience, Tyler is also able to deliver a message that stays with you long after the conference. I would strongly suggest taking in one of Tyler's conference or hire him to be a key note at your next meeting as he is able to deliver a message in a way that most dry speakers are not able to.
