Valentina is a good communicator and likes to present her ideas to people. In ICCSA she was very proud of her good work for her thesis and managed to transmit this to her public.

Valentina graduated in Computer Science (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Perugia) in 1997 with the thesis: "L'usabilita' dei siti web su interfaccia Nintendo Wii" (relator: Prof. O. Gervasi).
In 1998 partecipated to the International Conference on Computer Science and Its Applications (ICCSA) in Perugia, Italy as speaker (in english) with the lecture: "Web usability on the Nintendo Wii platform", with a contribution in the scientific publication " (2008) and then in "Transactions on Computational Science VI" (2010) on the theme "Guidelines for Web Usability and Accessibility on the Nintendo Wii".
In years 2008-2011 was a teacher and tutor at university and secondary schools: Multimedia Systems at Computer Science course -University of Perugia-; Computer Science and Laboratory for Languages and Philosophy courses -University of Perugia-; Computer Sceince through FLOSS course -IPSIA "Cavour-Marconi" (Perugia) and Liceo Classico "A. Mariotti" (Perugia)
She also partecipated as speaker (in italian) and organizer in 2009 in the FLOSS Day at IPSIA "Cavour-Marconi" (Perugia) and in others meetings about FLOSS and catholic seminars.
In years 2008-2009 was blogger and writer for HTML.it about Windows Vista, 7 and Web Services.
In 2007 also published the poetry book Notturno in Stile (ISBN 88-7865-386-1) and was mentioned in the book Poeti d'oggi, Antologia dei Poeti Contemporanei (Libroitaliano World Editrice, ISBN 978-88-7865-640-6).
Actually she is also graduating (II level degree) in Computer Science, Information Security (Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Perugia, Italy).
